WHERE?
Where does your immersion take place?
My immersion stays take place in La Baule, where I’ve been living for several years and where I spent a good part of my vacations as a child. La Baule is a chic seaside resort on the Atlantic coast. Renowned for its vast sandy beaches and luxurious hotels, La Baule is often considered one of Europe’s most elegant seaside destinations.
During your stay, you’ll be accommodated in a lovely guest house, La Maison Régent, located on the Pornichet embankment just a few hundred meters from La Baule.
Accommodation at La Maison Régent…
To ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, you will be accommodated in one of the following apartments La Maison Régent. However, if this location is not available on the dates you require, please do not hesitate to contact me so that I can suggest other accommodation options.
This charming guest house enjoys a privileged location on Pornichet’s embankment, within easy reach of La Baule and a variety of restaurants, offering the ideal setting for a seaside immersion. Sophie and Hervé, the owners, will take great care to ensure your well-being and meet all your needs. What’s more, each apartment has a living space large enough to accommodate our training sessions. So you don’t have to travel for your lessons: I’m the one who’ll be on site for our learning days.

Before booking with La Maison Régent, we need to work together to define the dates of your training course and therefore of your stay. Once the dates have been set, you can book your training course with me and your apartment with La Maison Régent. For information, a classic training program that runs from Monday to Friday requires you to book the apartment from Sunday to Friday inclusive. This means a 6-night reservation. If you wish to arrive one or more days earlier, that’s up to you!
The Bay of La Baule and its assets
The bay of La Baule, a member of the prestigious club of the world’s most beautiful bays, is world-famous for its 9km beach, one of the longest in Europe. Situated between Pornichet and Le Pouliguen, the town is also renowned for its unique villa architecture, prestigious hotels and sporting activities (tennis, golf, horse-riding, sailing…).
This popular seaside resort is located on the Atlantic coast in Southern Brittany, in the Pays de la Loire region.
La Baule and the wider Bay of La Baule (Pornichet, la Baule, le Pouliguen, Batz sur Mer, le Croisic, Guérande…) offer an enchanting setting for a French language training stay. This resort, where the elegance of the villas blends with the beauty of the seaside, offers a stimulating yet relaxing atmosphere for a highly enjoyable language immersion experience. What’s more, my experience tells me that the relaxed, open atmosphere of vacation resorts makes conversations much easier to initiate than in the city center. It’s an ideal setting for successful language immersion!
Beyond your French language training, your stay will give you the opportunity to take advantage of the region’s many assets: swimming and strolling on the beach, water sports, balneotherapy centers, the casinos of La Baule and Pornichet, window shopping, a trip to the small ports of Le Pouliguen and Le Croisic, an excursion to the salt marshes of Guérande, clam fishing during high tides, horseback riding lessons or horse rides… there’s no shortage of activities.
